FideS - Research orientation in the introductory phase of studies
FideS not only stands for research orientation in the introductory phase of studies, but is also the Latin word for "trust" - in our project, we mean trust in the interest of students and the momentum of (student) research processes. As part of the accompanying research for the "Quality Pact for Teaching" (QPL), FideS investigated how research orientation in the introductory phase of studies is implemented and effective in projects of the Quality Pact for Teaching and beyond. FideS was a joint project between the University of Hamburg, the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and the University of Potsdam (2015 to 2018) and will be continued as the FideS-Transfer project until 2020.
You can find the results of the FideS project at fides-projekt.de or in the anthology "Forschendes Lernen in der Studieneingangsphase"
