Writing Consultation

If you have any questions about writing at the university, you can contact the Writing Center during the semester and during the lecture-free period. Members of the Writing Center team will be happy to advise you. We can either arrange an individual appointment with you or you can simply come along to one of our open writing consultations without making an appointment.

The open writing consultations currently take place on Tuesdays (Philturm), Wednesdays (Pferdestall), Thursdays (Stabi) and Fridays (Martha-Muchow-Bibliothek). In the Central Law Library, there are open writing consultation times during the lecture-free period. You can find more detailed information here.

We will talk to you, for example, about the outline or argumentation structure of your term paper, clarify questions about academic writing style, try out writing methods with you or give you feedback on passages from your current writing project. Together we will work out a way for you to continue working on your text on your own.

Our writing consultations take place in person, online (via Zoom) or by telephone.
