Course evaluation
The course evaluation is a survey instrument designed to collect student feedback on the course. It serves as a tool for self-reflection and facilitates an exchange between students and lecturers, with the aim of enabling adjustments during the ongoing semester. The instruments used for evaluation are selected in consultation with the Evaluation Team. If the survey is conducted as a questionnaire, it is carried out online. As a rule, the results are made available exclusively to the lecturer. It is recommended that the lecturer discusses the results with the students.
In accordance with the university’s statutes on quality assessment procedures, the faculties establish their own guidelines regarding the modalities of course evaluations, particularly concerning their frequency and scope. Further information on the development of degree programs and quality management can be found on the pages of Section 31.
The Evaluation Team supports lecturers and faculties in organizing and conducting course evaluations and provides guidance in selecting appropriate survey instruments.
