Writing is possibly the most important activity in the doctoral phase - no one is awarded a doctorate without a written publication.

However, writing a dissertation is often a lonely and laborious activity. In addition, it is often difficult to set and adhere to writing deadlines for the doctoral thesis. This is why the Writing Center regularly offers special writing provisions for doctoral candidates. 

Online Writing Retreat

The Online Writing Retreat for doctoral candidates enables you to write productively at fixed times and to exchange ideas with others in a motivating way. For three consecutive days, we open up a digital writing space that you can access from your desk at home (or wherever you happen to be). We will structure the writing time for you, allow time for discussions and offer you supplements in the form of short impulse workshops on topics such as overcoming writing difficulties, language and style or time management during the doctorate.
