The workshop "Teaching Principles for Assistants in Science Labs" is specifically conceived for doctoral candidates who are in charge to manage the complex responsibilities of supervising students in laboratory settings. This one-day program provides essential teaching foundations crucial for effectively addressing the multifaceted tasks of laboratory assistants. These teaching skills significantly enhance the quality of instruction and are not only vital for an academic career but also highly relevant for professional development as leading people in and beyond academia. Key topics include non-violent communication and empathetic engagement with a diverse student body.
