Digitale Transformation und Higher Education
Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayrberger’s professorship focusses on digital transformation and higher education in the broader context of digitalisation of teaching and learning. In research, teaching, development projects and science communication, she is specifically concerned with the (tension) field of digitality, digitalisation, media education and media didactics. While her focus is on the shaping and development of contemporary environments for learning and teaching as well as their framework conditions at meso and macro level for digital change (for more detail please visit the research profile of Kerstin Mayrberger)
Besides her work at the Hamburg Center for University Teaching and Learning (HUL) Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayrberger was the scientific director of the BMBF-funded project SynLLOER at the Universitätskolleg (Digital) until 2019 as well as the corresponding sub-project HOOU@UHH at the University of Hamburg including Media Lab and OpenLab within the framework of the inter-university joint project of the Hamburg Open Online University (HOOU).
In addition, Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayrberger published the Open Access magazine "Synergie - Fachmagazin für Digitalisierung in der Lehre", which appears twice a year in print, PDF and ePUB, and also the series "Sonderband zum Fachmagazin Synergie" and "Synergie-Praxis".
